A family's cherished tradition
Let’s chat about Joy and her family and their great getaway at Lake Hudson! They’ve owned this spot since 2001, and it’s always been perfect for relaxing. After Joy lost her husband in 2014, her twin granddaughters said a heartfelt prayer that inspired them to keep the place in the family instead of selling it. This led Joy to an idea: why not make it a vacation rental to help with maintenance expenses? Now, they’re not only keeping the family legacy alive, but they’re also helping cover the costs.
Expert care, lasting comfort
So, two years later, John, a real 'lake person' who’s great at fixing just about anything, became part of the Red Kettle Properties crew. After tying the knot in 2017, he dove in to fix up the cabin and the grounds, getting two more rentals ready and making each place truly shine. Joy’s now a retired oncology nurse, and John has "kinda" retired from the City of Tulsa, but they both totally put their hearts into making every guest's stay fantastic.
